ESPN 3D
Thank you Avatar. Thank you. Because short of animated, blue, deer-like creatures; there is nothing I love more than sports. The thought of sitting down in my lazy boy on a Sunday Night and putting on my 3d glasses in order to watch the Cubs take on the Cardinals from Wrigley Field, is a dream come true. In his 60 minutes interview James Cameron was quoted as saying that he envisioned Avatar being released at a time when home theaters featured 3d projection technology. Now, thanks to the magic of Disney – I mean ABC – I mean ESPN, his wish could come true. The only thing that remains to be pondered now is how much cable providers are going to up-charge for “3d technology”.
